BRIEF:

Figment, a leader in staking solutions, required a comprehensive rebrand to align their visual identity with their core philosophy and extend this new identity across all marketing and product touchpoints. The project’s main goal was to refresh Figment’s brand, ensuring consistency across both digital and print platforms while supporting their diverse range of institutional clients.

Solution

The rebranding successfully delivered a unified and adaptable identity that seamlessly bridged the gap between the product UI and marketing materials. Figment's refreshed image was consistently implemented across all channels, from the staking app to event collateral and corporate communications. The design system and brand guidelines ensured ongoing cohesion, allowing internal teams to efficiently manage assets and maintain brand integrity post-launch. As a result, Figment strengthened its visual presence in the institutional space, with a scalable, professional brand that could evolve alongside their growing offerings.

THE AUDIT (BRAIN DUMP):

I audited existing assets to determine what could be adapted and redesigned for both digital and print platforms, creating layouts that could flexibly support a variety of formats. Below are snippets of my brainstorming sessions (done in Figma)

MARKETING BRANDING SIDE:

While simultaneously working on the marketing branding guide, I collaborated with the product designer to design all the webpages for the marketing website. Our joint efforts encompassed creating wireframes, developing the design system, and producing the final files, which were subsequently shared with the developer. Given the fast past environment, I had to be flexible and quick on my decisions, always ensuring clear communication between the marketing team and the product team. I worked with both teams, relaying the ongoing brand changes as they emerged.

Above is the Staking APP. I was mentored by the Principal Product Designer and helped create the APP’s design systems in Figma. This included learning UI and UX principals, like onboarding, accessibility, A/B testing, information architecture, prototyping and all the neat UI tricks of Figma
